Rev. Dr. Bob Fuller
Senior Pastor
Bob is a 1991 graduate of Washington and Lee University, and a 1996 graduate of Union Seminary. He received his doctorate from Union Seminary in 2006. He was ordained in August of 1996 and began his ministry as Associate Pastor for Service and Young Adults at First Presbyterian Church of Charlotte, North Carolina. He then served for four years as the Pastor of Hebron Presbyterian Church of Manakin-Sabot, Virginia. Bob was previously the Senior Pastor of Fairview Presbyterian Church in North Augusta, South Carolina, where he served faithfully for 13 years. He joined the family of FPC San Antonio as Senior Pastor in January of 2017, and is a powerful force in spreading God’s Word throughout the Kingdom.
Bob is very relational, a gifted preacher, and has a wonderful sense of humor. He takes seriously both the Bible and the theology of the Reformed tradition, fully believing that “the local church is the hope of the world.”
During his time with FPC San Antonio, Bob has been blessed to participate in the formation and oversight of the Zbinden Center for Biblical Leadership, which includes cohorts for church planting and pastoral education, The Fellows Program for church leadership and seminary education, and The Lay Academy for discipleship training.
He is married to his college sweetheart, Morgan, who grew up in Odessa, Texas. They have two children, Ellie and Bo, and the family loves the outdoors and especially spending time on the water
